Sports Massage Therapy
Sports Massage Therapy is a muscle management service involving focused work (if necessary) that relieves discomfort causing limited movement. Sessions are rehabilitative to restore maximum function from possible injury. Techniques used include deep tissue strokes, trigger point therapy and stretching to increase flexibility and range of motion. The treatment is best for career athletes and recreational exercise fans alike.

Movement Therapy Session
Movement Therapy Sessions prevent future injury by pinpointing bodily structures that can be improved with massage or a change in alignment. In each session a New York State licensed massage therapist informs a client of musculoskeletal patterns that may prohibit proper alignment when standing, walking, running or even sitting. Techniques can include postural assessment and yoga. All techniques will be used for assessment and within each client’s tolerance.

Soft Tissue Paraffin Wax - add on
Soft Tissue Paraffin Wax Treatment (for Back, Hands and Feet) is a concentrated heat technique with soft wax. It will increase blood and lymph circulation allowing the massage therapist to provide deeper work to a smaller area of tissue. Paraffin wax treatments are also beneficial to dry, cracked hands and feet because it is an excellent moisturizer that forms a light waterproof coating over your skin that helps it retain the oils produced by your own body, or "waterproofing." This treatment is ideal for those with chronic joint pain, hardened skin, general tendon soreness and/or ligament sprains.

Pain Relief Back Scrub - add on
The Pain Relief Back Scrub is a stimulating treatment that focuses on myofascial release. It works by releasing tight fascial layers surrounding the spinal column, providing a gentle pressure for stretching connective tissues. Strokes are done in the direction of muscles fibers for a smooth melting away of restrictions. The unique formula of sea salt and essential oils are ingredients changed per season providing a slight aroma therapeutic massage treatment as well.
